************************* ELECTRONIC ARTS QUICK START GUIDE ************************* ·Insert the game CD into your CD-ROM drive. ·After a short while the auto-run screen will appear - Click on Install and follow the on screen prompts. ·If your "Autorun" feature is disabled, double click on My Computer, then double click on your CD-ROM drive (normally D: or E:). Click on 'AUTORUN.EXE' directly in the root directory of the CD. Where are my Manuals? ===================== All manuals and documentation for your games are provided in electronic format on this CD. To view or print the manuals, follow the steps below: 1. If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat reader installed, browse this CD to the 'Acrobat' folder and open the relevant language folder. Double click on the icon to install the software necessary to view the manuals on your PC. 2. Now, browse to the 'Docs' folder and open the relevant language folder. Double click on the icon of the document you wish to view. If you have a printer connected to your PC, you can print the document by choosing Print from the File menu, once the file has opened. Electronic Help File ==================== Also included on the game CD and this CD is an electronic help file to help solve those slightly more tricky problems. You ask the questions - it provides the answers. The help file can be accessed from the Windows Start Bar in the same group as your game. The help file also includes 'EAsy Info' - a diagnostic tool that helps you, or Electronic Arts Technical Support staff diagnose the problem you're having. 1. Open the on-line help file, and click the EAsyInfo button in the menu bar. After a few moments, you should see a dialog box with the option to 'Save Info'. 2. Click 'Save Info', a file called 'EAsy_EA.txt' is then written to your desktop. Note: If you wish to print out the EAsy_EA.txt config report, simply double-click the icon on your desktop to open it. Then, click 'File' in the menu bar. Finally, select and click 'Print' from the drop-down menu.
