| Race: | Believed to be a 'spirit-mix': David is a human with certain feline features, and as far as his mother knows, he has no natural father. The 'spirit-mix' theory of a group of Shamans says that a Totem chooses a female to host its spirit, in the form of a child. However, other Shamans say that this could also be caused by a spirit that temporarily gave the child a shapeshift ability to shape it to the image it wants.

| Appearance: | No matter what may have caused it, David looks a bit like a cat. He has a very thin fur, but because of his light orange hair color that isn't really noticable. His face, however, looks too much like that of a cat to be called 'normal', and he has typical feline ears and retractable claws on his hands and feet. No tail though.

| Personality: | David is an eternal optimist, but he has moments of depression now and then.

| Background: | David is the son of Rowena Shinz, an Amerindian woman.
He was born at home, with the help of the local (female) tree shaman, a close friend of Rowena. The Shaman was, of course, surprised to find that the boy looked like a cat, but she saw it as a sign of the Cat Totem, and later contacted a cat shaman she knew. This would eventually lead to a group of High Cat Shamans silently looking after David, without him or his mother knowing anything about it. David had a loney, but happy childhood. He didn't have any close friends in his home town. At the age of six he first went to school. However, they didn't want to accept David at first, because it was a human school. Eventually, he is accepted after all, due to pressure from the Shamanic community. This was not known to David or his mother though. When he was 9, David's Aura vision ability appeared. At first it confused him a lot, but with the help of the old Astrology teacher (that normally only taught the older kids, and only at parental request) he learned to understand them and identify the astral signatures visible in these aura's. David and his mother moved when he was 14. There were many metahumans at the new school he went to. They didn't mind his feline looks, and he was accepted without any problems, or the interference of the Cat Shamans. His aura vision, that allowed him to see people's moods, helped him to make friends at school. A few year later he earned his nickname "wirecat" after a spectacular 'escape from school' when he walked over a power cable streched between the school building and the appartment building next to it. He got grounded for a week. After he finished school he wanted to become a journalist. However, during the summer he was visited by a group of cat shamans. They explained to him that it was their duty to make sure he had full contol of the cat spirit in his body. He agreed to take their training, and the following three years he was trained to be a Cat Shaman. After he finished his training, he started his studies. At first, he took PR/Journalism, but later he realized that he preferred Professional Negotiation. After four years he graduated. However, his looks gave him problems fining a job. During the first year after he graduated he took various small jobs, from firefighter to mechanic. Then, totally unexpected to David, he was presented to MUNDI by the Cat Shamans. Even though he had little field experience they accepted him as negotiator. Coincidentally, one of his old classmates worked at the UCAS Mundi department too, and he quickly regained his old nickname "Wirecat" there. His superiors even found it quite appropriate, since negotiators always balance on the thin wire separating peace from war. Since then, he traveled around the world, solving trade disputes and problems between governments and corporations... until he disappeared in Orkistonia. No one knew that he had been captured by Delori, who found the 'cat-boy' really amusing and wanted to keep him as a special pet-slave. |
| Gear / Weapons: | None; Delori took everything away. Still has a spare hand gun, but that's in the UCAS MUNDI department.

| Magic: | Aura vision: Wirecat can easily see and recognise aura's and identify the astral signatures in them.

| Transport: | Light motorcycle. Front light is broken due to a traffic accident; he never got a chance to fix it. Currently in the UCAS MUNDI department garage.

| Accomodation: | Has a rented appartment near UCAS MUNDI dep.; rent paid by MUNDI.

| Cyberwear: | The obligatory MUNDI Decoder Smartlink, to allow MUNDI personnel to use their weapon arsenal. However, since David is a civil negotiator his implant only gives him clearance to use the low security-level hand guns.
