The MP5 player is a small black box, about 2x3x1 inch, and fitted to hang on a belt with a system that clicks around the belt. Thanks to that system, the MP5 player can easily be taken off the belt, but it can't fall of by accident.
The player could be made a lot smaller, but it's got a compartiment for her wireless earplugs, and the upper 2x3 inch surface is completely covered with the display (2x1.5 inch) and the control buttons under it.
There is a protective plexiglass screen made of 2 parts (splits in the middle). These parts open like doors and then sink into the side of the player (they're both 1x1.5 inch) when someone pushes the two marked spots on both sides of player at the same time. You can see one of these spots in the picture.
The other spot on the bottom is for opening the earplug compartiment.
MP5 tracks are mostly uploaded with a wireless connection, but there is a port on the top to plug a connector into it.
The MP5 player can also receive text messages, like a wristphone, but can't send any.
